By making contact you are taking an important and difficult step. Even although something in your life has led you to look up the information on therapy, you may still be uncertain of how to proceed.

We would start with an initial phone consultation (free of charge) where we would discuss what has lead you to seek out a therapist and which of the therapies I offer that interests you. At the end of this conversation we would decide whether or not to proceed with an initial one-hour, one-on-one appointment. We would also, during the phone consultation, discuss suitable times and fees.

 

The first appointment, conducted in a comfortable and secure setting, involves a brief discussion regarding your life or family history, and enables us to go into more detail as to why you have sought therapy. Any goals you wish to achieve are also discussed in line with an idea of how best to proceed.
There are no easy solutions, but as long as there is commitment and sincerity, a solution is attainable. For my part, I am committed to helping my clients find that place in their lives where they are able to move forward positively, with a clearer understanding of what has gone before, and what may come next.
